Bar/Bat Mitzvahs
A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a joyful and sacred coming-of-age — the time when a young person steps into their role as a responsible member of the adult Jewish community. Being called to the Torah for the first time is both an honor and a commitment to live by the values and spirit of our tradition.
I work with each family to create a ceremony that is meaningful, authentic, and welcoming to everyone present. I collaborate with an experienced Torah-chanting tutor while guiding your child through spiritual preparation, understanding their Torah portion, crafting a D’var Torah (speech), and connecting with Jewish traditions and values in their own way.
What’s Included:
• Preparation – Guidance on Torah portion, D’var Torah, and Jewish values alongside your child’s tutor.
• Ceremony – Torah reading, blessings, leading parts of the service, and family participation, with explanations for all guests.
• Personal Touches – Music, mitzvah projects, and creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
